Star Wars Vader Immortal Goes live May 21st
What do you think it feel like to be in the presence of Darth Vader? As Vader at 6’7in in height walks out of the shadows and draws his red lightsaber, would you feel excitement or fear? As your adrenaline starts to flow, and you simply want to react, yet, you know that in doing so will quite easily result in a losing fight. Just having the ability to experience that type of moment would make it all worthwhile. Well is seams we may just get the chance to find out. Industrial Light and Magic, has been working on something very special for Star Wars fans for a few years now, which is intended to immerse players in that exact scenario. Vader Immortal Episode 1 is a VR based experience, in which players become the apparent apprentice of the sith lord, and have to learn to swing a lightsaber and use the force to achieve their goal, thereby appeasing Vader. The trailer for the experience dropped early this month and we now have confirmation that the complete episode 1 will be available on May 21st for Oculus users, and will take players on an epic journey through the Star Wars universe. The story is set between the end of The Revenge of the Sith and Rogue one, which gives a massive time period that has to be explored by Fans.

You play as a smuggler who stumbles upon Vader’s Castle on Mustafar, and must quickly adapt as your plans begin to unravel and you become caught in a Vader’s world. As shown in the Title, this is only the first episode in a trilogy, which is designed so you progress and become one with the journey that you are taking. This game is supposed to be a game changer for VR storytelling and it is going to be very interesting to explore this world, and see what the story has to offer.
